Throughout the year, there's be plenty of fun to be had at the many fêtes, festivals and community events taking place around Islington. There will be something for everyone, from events in local parks to three-week arts festivals in a range of venues.
With the festivals providing a full range of types of entertainment and workshops, why not try something completely different? Festivals include a puppetry festival at the Little Angel Theatre, a community fête in Amwell St, a string orchestra event at Kings Place, street parties and family festivals at Canonbury Grove and St Paul’s Shrubbery, and a school fair at St Joseph’s School.
Islington Council has contributed to funding of many of these events, as well as actively supporting community groups with organisation and publicity.
